Mapbox decodes map tiles in a background worker, and browsers block workers on
pages opened straight from disk — every file:// page is treated as its own
locked-down origin. Put this file on any web host and it works as-is.
Create a public token at account.mapbox.com, then open this file and paste it
into the line near the top starting const MAPBOX_TOKEN =.
Only people you send the link to can see this session.
Shown on the session card to anyone who can see the session.
A working prototype for a small group of Calgary skate friends to line up sessions. If you stumbled onto it, go ahead and use it — just know it’s going to change a lot, and it’ll probably break on you at some point.
Stay tuned for a “real version.”
There are no user accounts, so nowhere to keep “your” stuff; everything is saved in the browser you’re using. If you make a session in Safari, it won’t be in Chrome. If you open an invite inside an app’s built-in browser (Insta, Messenger), you’ll probably never see it again.
Best for texting a few friends. The link is the session. Anyone can open it, including whoever your friend forwards it to. SMS links usually open in someone’s normal browser 🤞.
Saved directly to the main map and visible to everyone. Much better for pasting share links into Messenger or Instagram.
Per-browser like everything else. Reply from your phone and then your laptop, and you’re two different people to the app…
This removes your account and its email address. Sessions you published stay on the map until they finish — cancelling other people’s plans isn’t something deleting an account should do. Enter your password to confirm.
